Here's a big collection of merchandise, have no idea whether any are official though. -- Prima 09:43, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

FYI there's now a goods tab on the official Madoka website [1]that we can refer to...however people want to handle that. Sadly, there is a complete lack of Kyouko items there for some reason. -randomanon 03:07, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

Cafe Menu

Would anybody be interested in a full translation of the cafe's menu? It'd be fun and easy to do, and it could bring up some "easter eggs" among the more mundane things like omelettes and curry. Momoism 20:39, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

When you're talking about the menu, you're talking about that "Special menu" at the bottom of the homepage right? Cause I just skimmed through the regular menu and it seems pretty normal to me. Might've missed something though. Anyway maybe I'll do it tomorrow or something if I feel like it --Homerun-chan 21:11, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
I was talking about the regular menu, which is pretty normal (even though most of it belongs in what you'd call a "restaurant," not a normal cafe). After going through it, I found that there aren't any series-specific dishes, so translating it would definitely be a "If-I-feel-like-it" project. Momoism 21:41, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
Suddenly I feel hungry after looking that Kyubey-shaped rice , I am going to lunch --Mutopis 21:18, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
They have things like Pot-au-Feu, salmon sautéed in buttercream sauce, and beefsteaks. Don't underestimate Kyubey's ability to treat you to a good, affordable meal so long as you contract with him! Momoism 21:41, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Talking about the café, if we write more about it here (menu translation and other things), doesn't it deserve its own page? --Homerun-chan 21:15, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

How long will it be open, and how many people do you think are going to go there? If it stays as popular as it is now, I think that would warrant its having its own page. Momoism 21:41, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
It goes until July 18th. This is a cafe that specializes in anime themes and has done many other anime-themed events in the past. Once Madoka is done, it'll pick up the next hot thing from the spring season. --randomanon 22:26, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
Wasn't this the same cafe that had a Panty & Stocking theme just a while ago? It was. It also hosted Black Rock Shooter and god knows what else. --BrickBreak 22:41, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Wave

Is it possible to limit the number of Wave pics or use the composite ones like with Mami? People can click on the links to see all the photos in detail. I feel like it's getting unwieldy and there's going to be more figma, figures and nendoroids coming out in the future. --randomanon 06:57, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Is this better? --Mutopis 07:25, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Looking at these merchandises I curse that I am afflicted with monetary deficiency. Oh cruel world, why has thou forsaken my wallet? --Mutopis 07:37, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
Yep, I think it's good now. --randomanon 07:40, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Video Game

Technically merchandise. I havent heard anything about it, with the exception of the article. I hope we get some pictures or a video soon. --Mutopis 05:10, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

I dont think I have to mention this but there is no indication that this game will be localized in America. despairgriefseed.jpg --Mutopis 05:16, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
Well, good thing the PSP games have no region lockout. I have one, so when it comes out you can count on me for screenies and the stuff (although I'll probably have to obtain it through less-than-orthodox means). --BrickBreak 11:51, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

New Comiket doujin-game

What category do we file this under?

- Prima 20:42, 11 August 2011 (UTC)

It is not an official game. Technically speaking, it is fanmade --Mutopis 23:21, 11 August 2011 (UTC)

File this under Fanworks. All fanworks need to be linked there for convenience. Homu-Harem Member (talk) 02:25, 10 March 2019 (UTC)

Madoka collaboration with Emil Chronicle Online

http://www.econline.jp/event/eco_madomagi/

GungHo's MMORPG Emil Chronicle Online is holding a series of PMMM-related events from 25 Aug onwards. Should this be included here as well? -- 220.255.1.83 14:27, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

But there are still more collaborations between PMMM and On-line games in Japan. I think it better to have another topic if you want to have report on it. Anyway, they are in Japan only. Yorkwoo 11:01, 20 November 2011 (UTC)

Mami Tea Set

3ds colors for pmmm.jpg

I both rue and lament ever starting the day. That Mami tea set is absent from the merchandise list is enough to make you weep. I find this to be ironic and inexcusable...--Mutopis 00:45, 20 November 2011 (UTC)

Why it is Mami this time? There is even no 3DS in yellow. :-) Yorkwoo 15:07, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Books

We currently do not have a category or a section for fanmade but published Madoka-related literature. Where'll be a good section/page to locate them? - Prima 04:33, 10 December 2011 (UTC)

Yes we do, right here. All the information that you had posted came from that section in the first place. --randomanon 04:38, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Oh~~ The reason I asked was that those pages all popped up on here Special:UncategorizedPages. Can we make a new category for it? - Prima 21:46, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Lots of pages show up there, even the main page is there. All that means is no one put a classification category on that page, that's all. That doesn't mean the page doesn't get hits or links. --randomanon 21:50, 10 December 2011 (UTC)

"Madoka Magica" Wafers Selling Fast In Japan

Source: Crunchyroll and Yaraon!

What some fans do for fandom... that's a waste of candy --Mutopis 09:26, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

I have much better pictures and a translation to add, if the cards somehow become available overseas. --randomanon 09:29, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
Be my guest. Would be nice if those cards became available... nicer if it came with the chocolate wafer --Mutopis 09:58, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

Soul Gem and Grief Seed straps

Funny how we can purchase anime girls souls for souvenirs and still call Kyubey a monster.

By the way, is that new sand timer Grief Seed that of Homullily? -Derp101-

I believe so SPDUDE48 17:25, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

I find it odd that there's a Grief Seed strap for the Witch of the Netherlands even though we never saw the actual WitchSPDUDE48 17:25, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

This grief seed is also shown in EP8. Maybe Homura hunted her at a time we don't know. The witch of dog is never shown. --Yorkwoo 01:33, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
I'm aware that the seed is shown EP8. I also assume you're speaking of Uhrmann. SPDUDE48 01:36, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

Madoka Magica, Sanrio's My Melody Unite for Crossover Goods

The Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime is teaming up with Sanrio's popular character My Melody for a line of collaboration goods that will go on sale in mid-July. Madoka Magica's title character and My Melody will merge into one character, while Madoka Magica's Homura Akemi and Sanrio's Kuromi will have their own mash-up. [2]

Merchandise Overhaul

Since this page is getting quite long (while missing a lot of the currently available merchandise, although some of it is on the talk page), I was thinking of splitting the various categories of items into different pages and leaving this one as an index. A basic structure could be:

  1. Figures (Figma, Nendoroid, others)
  2. Apparel and Accessories (shirts, scarves, keychains, etc.)
  3. Toys (plushies, dolls)
  4. Food
  5. Special (Ichiban Kuji, the merchandise available at movie theatres)
  6. Other (everything else that doesn't fit above)

Also, if we're at the topic of a redesign, I think a structure similar to the Products page would be a bit more helpful, with less images and more information about the item in question. Any thoughts or suggestions? --Knon 22:22, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

That's OK. I already think it too big for some time. --Yorkwoo 23:39, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
Trying out a new layout before breaking up this page. Suggestions would be welcome. --Knon 01:54, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
Updating the Madoka merchandise page with new stuff is such a hassle, it makes me wish perhaps there shouldnt be so much Madoka stuff out there... --Mutopis 11:46, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
It should be expected, given Madoka's popularity, that the number of merchandise is going to increase. I hope once the page is more up-to-date that it's going to be overall easier to update. At least there won't be a huge backlog of items to go through. --Knon 16:43, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
It makes me wonder to whom this stuff is being marketed, though. A lot of it seems like typical "older" fan fare (the figmas, plate sets, etc.), but some products look as if they'd be marketed to kids (the food products, the backpacks, etc.). Who is the main audience for PMMM in Japan, anyway? 69.119.10.180 21:39, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
Considering its broadcast time, Madoka falls clearly into the (predominantly male) adult demographic. I'd say the types of merchandise you see aren't that different from that of any other similar anime. --Knon 08:23, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

Sanrio's Madoka Magica-Themed Goods

http://www.animenewsnetwork.co.uk/interest/2013-11-08/sanrio-madoka-magica-themed-goods

Sanrio's classic My Melody character, a bunny with a pink hood and floppy ears, has a kind and friendly personality. Her rival, Kuromi, is taciturn and mischievous, but with a girly side, with her black hood and pink skull. If that pairing reminds you of Puella Magi Madoka Magica's Madoka and Homura, you're not alone — Sanrio has a line of character goods featuring these two chibi animals as Madoka Magica's contrasting duo!
