The music for the anime series was composed and arranged by Yuki Kajiura, who also produced the ending theme of series: Magia.
OST Volume 1
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Original Soundtrack: Volume One will be released bundled with the second DVD and BD volume of the anime. It was originally scheduled for release on April 27th, 2011, but postponed to May 25th, 2011 due to 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.
The first volume contains thirteen tracks, including several important background sounds used during key points of the series, but do not include the opening or ending themes of the series. All the tracks are titled in Latin.
